BCN Clear

Cookie policy

BCN Clear sets no cookies, of its own or from third parties, and stores nothing in your browser. We use no analytics, advertising or social media plugins, and everything on the page (fonts, scripts, images) is served from our own domain. That is why you see no cookie banner: there is nothing to accept or reject. Videos are the one exception, and only if you press play (see “Videos” below).

When you leave the site

Booking links take you to Turisme de Barcelona’s official shop (thisisbarcelona.com) or to a venue’s own website. Once you are there, that site may set its own cookies, including an affiliate cookie that records you came from us so that we earn a commission if you buy. Those cookies belong to that site, which must ask for your consent and explain them in its own cookie policy.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can see and delete cookies, or block them, in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.

Videos

Some pages show a video from the official YouTube channel of a monument or operator. Until you press play, you only see a still image served from our own domain: nothing is requested from YouTube or Google. When you press play, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, Google’s privacy-enhanced mode, which according to Google does not set cookies until you interact with the player; YouTube then receives your IP address and the data it needs to play the video, under Google’s privacy policy. If you don’t want that, don’t press play: every page works without the video.

Changes

If we ever add something that uses cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent first, with “Reject” as easy as “Accept”. The rest of how we handle data is in our privacy policy.
