Privacy policy

The short version: no accounts, no newsletter, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising. The only data processed when you visit is the technical data needed to deliver the page to you.

Data controller

Magnify Digital S.L. (NIF B75416545), Rambla Sant Sebastià, 73, Àtic, 08921 Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelona), Spain. Email: hola@magnify.ing.

What is processed when you visit

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. To deliver each page and protect it from abuse, Vercel processes technical data about your visit: IP address, browser, the page requested and the time. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the site working and staying secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel keeps these logs for a limited time under its own policy; we do not export or keep them.

Vercel acts as our processor. It is a US company, so data may be transferred to the United States, covered by the standard contractual clauses in its data processing agreement and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Calculators

The calculators (Barcelona Card, tourist tax) run entirely in your browser. What you type is not sent to us or stored anywhere.

When you click a booking link, you go to Turisme de Barcelona’s official shop (thisisbarcelona.com) or to the venue’s own website. Those sites set their own cookies, including the one that records you came from us so that we are credited with the commission, and handle them under their own privacy policies. We receive commission reports, never your name, email address or payment details.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and, unless you press play on a video (see below), loads nothing from other servers: our fonts, scripts and images are served from our own domain. That is why there is no cookie banner. More in our cookie policy.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction, erasure or restriction of your data, its portability, or object to its processing, by emailing hola@magnify.ing. As we keep no data that identifies you, we will most likely hold nothing about you, but we will reply all the same. If you are not happy with how we handled your request, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or to the data protection authority where you live.

Videos

Some pages show a video from the official YouTube channel of a monument or operator. Until you press play, you only see a still image served from our own domain: nothing is requested from YouTube or Google. When you press play, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, Google’s privacy-enhanced mode, which according to Google does not set cookies until you interact with the player; YouTube then receives your IP address and the data it needs to play the video, under Google’s privacy policy. If you don’t want that, don’t press play: every page works without the video.

Changes

If the site starts handling data differently (a newsletter or visitor statistics, for example), we will update this page first. Our other terms are in the legal notice.
